The Legend of the Lampost….Lets shed some light on the subject

“One man’s junk is another man’s treasure” is certainly true as you look all around our community and see our historical lampposts. Here’s how we acquired these gems: In the early 1960’s, Bill Kay found hundreds of original Philadelphia gas lanterns piled up in an old garage. Knowing they would add to the charm and elegance of our community Mr. Kay bought all 150 of them!

Our treasured lampposts have become our community symbol and proudly serve as our logo.
